Rigby Electric Supply opened its doors in 1972 under the leadership of George Robbins and A. J. Rigby and for many years specialized in both electrical utility industries. In late 2014, Rigby was acquired by two North Carolinians, David Blackwood and Greg Lockard, who own and operate the business today with the focus being electrical contractors as well as electrical maintenance within industrial plants, hospitals, schools, and universities. Our goal is to continue growing and expanding the business and we plan to do so by maintaining and managing our significant inventory investment, providing fair and competitive pricing, and providing a consistent and enjoyable experience to our customers.

We proudly represent most of the key and quality brands within the electrical industry. Quality is always at the forefront of our inventory, but we also recognize the need to remain competitive.
